Good morning everyone,
Start of the half term hols here, so as I work in a school I have a week off myself.
hoping to get the rest of my christmas cards finished.

check out their blog herehttp://liliofthevalleythursdaychallenge.blogspot.com/
On to the card,
I was haveing a look around my local craft shop and found this felt border from P.M I just loved it,
The snowflake wide border and the zig zag binding came in the same pack, Its very 3d ish (raised) but don't show very well on the photo.
The backing paper I got from the shop to but it never said who produced it so not sure who's it from.
The stamp is from LOTV and I coulored it with my ever growing collection of promarkers.
The dry embossing stencil is by cards unlimited and highlighted it with stardust stickles glue.
Kandan emblishments and text finish the card off.
I hope you like my card and thank you for stopping by.

Fun in the snow

Good morning all.
Todays card is for the Penny black saturday challenge,
You had to put 2 images onto a card check out their blog herehttp://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/
I loved doing this card its so diffrent to the kind of cards I tend to do ( lots of backing paper, flowers and lace!?)
I started on a white base card drew the snow hills outlining them with promarkers, coloured the sky with powder blue promarker, stamped the text, covered the 2 hills with tacky glue and used white fine glitter.
left it over night to all dry then stamped the 2 penny black images and coloured with promarkers.
Finnaly attached the images with foam squares.
I think the hedgehogs look as if they're having so much fun.
Thank you for popping in to see my card today.
Take care

50th birthday

Hello,
Thank you for popping in to see me, hope you are well.
Todays card is for a dear friend of mine who's 50th birthday is in a couple of weeks time.
I'm entering it for the LOTV blog challenge who's theme is Autumn colours.
Check out their blog herehttp://liliofthevalleythursdaychallenge.blogspot.com/
now onto the card.
I used bronze pearl base card with My minds eye bloom and grow backing paper.
friskers rose border punch the  ribbion I got from my local craft store in thir bargin tub. the flower is already on the ribbion its really cute and such a bargin at 99p.
The other flowers are from wild orchid crats.
The stamp is from LOTV and I coloured with promarkers, then put glossy accents onto the main flower just to bring the flower out alittle more.
Finally finished off with a 50 peel off  that is only just sticking to the ribbion so may have to add glue to make it more secure.
Hope you like my card for today
Take care

so the challenges are going to be a christmas theme when I can.
I used dovecraft christmas papers for the background, Prima flowers sizzix corners and a 3d text sticker.

Dressing up.

Hello the sun is showing its face at last yeah!
Todays card is for the passion for promarkers blog challenge, you had to add something
that was recycled. Check out their blog herehttp://promarkerchallenge.blogspot.com/
Onto the card.
I used a broken necklace from my grandaughters dressing up box, that was going to be thrown away.
They are the dangly bits from the ribbon going across the middle of the card.
The backing paper I made myself with shaving foam and glimmer mists a while ago now but throught perfect for this card.
I punched the bottom with a friskers punch.
The stamped image is from LOTV and throught went with the necklace whic was my starting point for the card. I coloured in with promarkers, caramel, burnt sienna, coco, blush, warm grey 2,pink carnation,
Antique pink.Plum,ochid andAmethyst.
I used my new nesties lacey squares. and added a sentiment in the corner,
I was going to add flowers but when I put them up to the card I throught it looked better without so they never went on.
Sometimes less is better dont you think?
I hope you like the card for today.
Take care
