Tone on Tone

Good Morning all,
Hope this find you all well.
Todays card is for stamping sisters in christ challenge 85. check out their blog here. http://stampinsistersinchrist.blogspot.com/

Onto the card. You had to use Tone on tone with your card so same colour background as stamps etc.
so it just called distress inks for me.
I just happened to make this postcard/card at a craft class on staurday so fitted perfectly in with the theme.

I used chipped sapphire as the colour, covering a piece of cream card with the blending foam. Sticking a piece of post it note over a area to mask for the frame. Then using a piece of cotton wool ball put more post it notes round the edge ot the frame and using the cotton wool blended more distress ink round the edge.
Stamped the images with creative expressions Bird u Mount stamps.
Dryed off with a heat gun then useing a embossing pad and clear embossing powder added the swirls and some random leaves over the front and embossed with heat gun.
on the back added a stamp and sentiment the card then sits on a stand cut in cream card. I was very happy with my efforts, the bird cage didnt come out well, but in a class you cant do again, needless to say brought the things I needed to make more at home.
Thank you for looking in my blog today.
Blessings

onto the card.

The card is a Tent card,
I covered the card with plain mint green and pale pink paper.
I used a Martha stewart edge punch and Papermainer embossing folder for the top section.
The bottom was The cute bunny cupcake picnic  stamp from LOTV I adore this stamp I've only had it since last weekend and have used it 4 times already.
Brought it at Ally pally craft show. Anyway back to the card, I coloured the image with promarkers, backed it with  pale pink card. Finished the card with cupcake emblishments and pearls.

Everything Beautifull

Hello all its been awhile since I have wrote in my blog.
I have missed it so. But now I.m back.
I'm also entering my first card challenge in ages its for stamping sisters in christ you can check out their blog herehttp://stampinsistersinchrist.blogspot.com/
now onto the card.
You had to have purple as the main colour for your card I think I've managed that dont you think???
I used freebie papers from my craft mag they are by Kate Knight and I love them very bold designs.
I've used the new wild flower toppers from flowersoft, I used Autum flowersoft as stamens and to highlight the leaves. I distressed the topper with Victorian velvet ink and used it also round the edge of the card.
Stamped the scripture in Eggplant Adirondack dye ink.
The scripture is from Ecc3:11 and the stamps are from Our Daily bread scripture collection 1.
all I now did was add the lace. And card done The flowers on the bottom of the card came with the topper,
There is enough flowers and border to do a second card if wanted.
Thank you for looking at my blog  come again soon.
God bless
Karen
